India vs England ODI and T20 Series: After a crushing and dominating Test series in perspective of India against England, both the teams are having rest and preparing themselves mentally and emotionally. England faced a 0-4 defeat aginst India and now they would like to start the ODI series on a positive note.

However, Indians would be looking for keeping the momentum going for them and also for a whitewash ahead of the ODI series, which will also affect the ICC ODI team rankings. India is currently on the 3rd position(with 111 points) in ICC ODI Team Ranking behind Australia and South Africa. England is on the fifth position(with 107 points) in the ranking.

However, there could be no effect on the ranking even if India wins all the three ODI’s against England, but England has all the things to gain here and it can dethrone New Zealand( with 109 points) from 4th Position. But only if England succeeds to beat India in all the three ODI matches, which seems pretty difficult for the visitors.

Also, India could come close by lessening the points difference to claim the second position in the ranking.

However, in the upcoming India vs England ODI and T20 series, the games are going to be super exciting. England will be playing with all its best efforts to perform well in the sub-continent conditions and to showcase their skills either. However, Indians will be seen playing with a new Captain (MS Dhoni), who will be back after a long offs and without any more game practice. The visitors will also play under the new captain in Eoin Morgan.

Also, as many of the usual Indian ODI team players are suffering from injuries. So, making the perfect combination with the players will be a major task for the managing staff and the skipper.
