Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone expected to launch in August, says Executive

As per the latest speculations, a company executive has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone is expected to launch 23rd of August by the South Korean firm. The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor.

The release of the smartphone is said to take place in two phases. In the first phase, the smartphone will be launched in September in selected markets like US, UK and South Korea. In the second phase, the smartphone will be launched in October in other global markets. And hence, it can be thought that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone will reach the Indian market in October.

There have been many rumours making rounds about the specifications and features of the smartphone.

The smartphone is said to sport an Infinity Display with an impressive screen-to-body ratio.

Processor

It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Memory

The device is said to come with a 6GB of RAM and an internal memory of 128GB.

Operating System

The handset is expected to run Android – 7.1.1 Nougat.

Camera

On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone may have a dual camera set up. It is expected to have 12-megapixel wide-angle CMOS image sensor along with a dual photodiode and a 13-megapixel telephoto CIS sensor with 3X zoom on the rear side. While there is no information about the front camera.

Battery

It is expected to have a 3300mAh battery.

Other Important Features

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone may come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a battery monitoring app, audio enhancements, new S-pen features, S-Pen support, and a USB TypeC port for all the data transfer and charge.

Price

The device may be priced at around $900 (roughly Rs 58,000).
