BJP chief Amit Shah : While a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi, BJP President Amit Shat said that he should come out to take yatras against unemployment, poverty and starvation instead of embarking on roadshows against demonetization.
Shah said while addressing BJP’s Parivarthan Rally on Friday and attacked the opposition parties, including Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress for uniting against the government drive of demonetization. He further said, PM Modi wants to appear in the Parliament for debate, but annoyed opposition disrupting parliamentary proceedings.
Rahul should come out on the roads against poverty and unemployment
“Rahul baba is undertaking padayatras daily. It will be better if Rahul takes out yatras against unemployment, poverty, and starvation,” Shah said, targeting the Congress leader, who has been aggressively campaigning against demonetisation. “He (Rahul) asks what change has come after BJP came to power. He will not be able to see as he has ‘Italian chashma’ (Italian glasses) on his eyes,” Shah said, in an apparent reference to the Italian roots of Rahul’s mother Sonia Gandhi.
Shah compares opposition to animal in the Jungle
The BJP president compared the unity of opposition parties on the issue of demonetization to animals in a jungle climbing the same tree to save their lives from intense floods.
He also likened SP, BSP and Congress to “naagnath and saanpnath” (snakes) sitting over schemes for development of Uttar Pradesh, forcing youth to migrate to other states for menial jobs.

He claimed that come what may, BJP will come to power in the state after the upcoming assembly election.
Shah said the demonetisation has taken the wind out of BJP supremo Mayawati’s sails. These are the parties that were asking till 7 November to Modiji, What have done to check black money? And now these are asking Modiji, Why have you done this to check black money?
BJP Chief said the decision of the government has given to a great jolt to those have lakhs of crores of rupees acquired by illegal ways. Shad said every single paisa being deposited after deducting the 75-to 85 percent penalty by the black money hoarders will be used for the development and welfare works.
