CRPF conducted the written exam for the recruitment of Constables on 29th may, 2016 at various centres. It was a screening exam for the post of Constable tradesman, the selected candidates then appeared for another exam, that was a medical test. The medical exam held in June 2016. At the end, 2695 candidates will be selected through the recruitment process.

The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest of India’s Central armed Police forces. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF’s primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and counter-insurgency. It conducts various examinations for filling up vacancies in various departments.
