After the success of the blockbuster movie Enthiran (also goes by name Robot) in 2010, film director S. Shankar is getting ready with the sequel. Enthiran was one of the costliest movies in Indian cinema, with the production on floors the sequel is counting in billions. The surprise factor about the movie is that only one song will be the part of movie.

Isn’t it cool, that the headaches of 3-4 minutes after every half an hour has gone away? Don’t worry academy award winner and music composer A.R Rahman has kept the music space away from the live action and the album will contain about 5-6 songs. The only song which will feature is the movie was shot in Ukraine and it is a duet song. The song was picturised on Tamil superstar Rajnikanth who is the protagonist of the movie along with British actor Amy Jackson.
Debut for Akshay Kumar in Tamil Cinema
It would also be the grand debut of Bollywood khiladi, Akshay Kumar who will carry the rivalry further as antagonist after the contract fall between Shankar and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film also features Adil Hussain, Sudhanshu Pandey and Riyaz Khan (Ghajini fame) in important roles.
The animation and prosthetic effects for the movie is handed over to Legacy Effects who has previously worked on likes of X-Men movies, Marvel Avengers, Captain America and many others. The movie is slated to release in 2017 and the first look of 2.0 will be unveiled on November 20 in Mumbai.
