Gurgaon Under Drones : Residents of Gurgaon will soon see their activities under the vigil of drones from the sky. Due to high traffic and spontaneous movements in the city, it has become difficult for police to keep an eye, which prompted city police to introduce drones. Residents would be able to see drones within two weeks as the administration has already purchased drones for 1.70 lakh rupees.
Gurgaon police to get technically suit up
A drone can monitor up to 1 Km of area from a height of 120 meter. Moreover, it would be fully equipped with 4k camera which will do the video recording and 4 megapixel cameras for still pictures. As per the reports, drone will function through software named; DIJGO and it would be controlled through a smartphone or a Tablet. With Gurgaon under drones, police can take better steps to safeguard the public. With a single charge, a drone could fly for almost 1.5 hour.

According to Hindi newspaper Daily Jagran, the trial of drones was conducted under the scrutiny of Joint police commissioner as reported by the Police Commissioner office. This would not only help the administration to keep an eagle eye on city but also proper monitoring shall be done from time to time, which will help in managing the traffic.
