IRCTC Rail Connect App: For making ticket booking procedure faster than earlier, India Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has decided to launch a new ticketing app which will have various features added to the existing one for quick booking of tickets.
After introducing the app with the latest technology, existing IRCTC Connect will now become IRCTC Rail Connect to make easy of train tickets in a faster and easier way, a senior Railway Ministry official said.
IRCTC, which handles online train ticket booking, will officially launch the IRCTC Rail Connect app next week to cater to the growing demand of passengers to make the ticketing app more user-friendly and faster.
The app will be based on the next generation e-ticketing system. It will be synchronised with ticketing website also, that is missing in the current. System.

IRCTC Rail Connect App will have various advanced features
The upcoming app will be equipped with various facility through which travellers would able to search and book train tickets, to check their existing reservation or cancel them and get the upcoming journey alerts in the new app.
IRCTC Rail Connect will keep the passenger details for the recently-booked tickets so that they don’t have to enter their details again and again.
