Bollywood movie Ki And Ka have released this Friday starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The film has released around on 1650 screens in India and 500 screens overseas. But only around 15 to 20 percent occupancy was recorded for the early shows on Friday which is quite low. Ki and Ka have minted around Rs.7.30 Crore on its opening day, which may be decent comparing to its pre-released hypes.
According to the movie critic and trade analyst Tarand Adarsh Tweeted the following:
#KiAndKa Fri ₹ 7.30 cr. India biz… Sat + Sun biz is crucial to deliver a healthy weekend total.

Ki and Ka have got average reviews from the critics. This is the only Bollywood film released this weekend alongside with Hollywood animated film Kung Fu Panda 3. Ki and Ka have to share the screen with previous Bollywood releases “Rocky Handsome” and “Kapoor & Sons” but they are not expected to harm its business.
Arjun-Kareena starrer film is based on the reversal of gender roles and how they manage complications and criticism of the family and society.
The popularity and fan following of both Kareena and Arjun, the chemistry among them and the excessive promotions of the film can boost its performance this weekend. After India’s exit from the T20 World Cup, the number of occupancy of an audience in the theatres are expected to grow high. Kareena and Arjun starrer Ki and Ka is expected to perform better in upcoming shows on Saturday and Sunday.
