The Prime Minister Narendra Modi move of demonetization is again surrounded with controversies after the ruling BJP MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat was caught on the camera criticizing the government’s decision to abolish Rs 500 and Rs 1,000notes. In this video, he is also alleging that Gautam Adani and Ambani had prior information of the demonetization decision.
His statement on the camera stirred controversies after accusing opposition, demanding the government to revoke the move which is not inthe favor of common people. Interestingly, when all the news channels broadcast his video alleging Modi government, the Ladpura (kota) legislator Rajawat denied he had given such statement.
Even the video has gone viral on the several social media platforms in which he is talking to journalists in Kota saying that “Ambani-Adani ko pehle se pata tha aur unko hint de diya gaya aur unhone apna kar liya” (Ambani and Adani were given hints of demonetisation after which they converted their money).

MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat denied to give any statement against demonetization
Rajawat also criticizing the government in the video for introducing a low quality of new Rs 2,000 denomination, saying it appears duplicate on touching it.
“Enough currency should have been printed prior to the demonetization move keeping in view the public. Rajawat said in the video.
On the other hand, the opposition has got the chance to criticize the government after Rajawat’s controversial jibe came because the leaders in Opposition are already accusing Modi government of giving prior information of demonetization to industrialists and black money holders.
Rajawat refused to give any such statement to media. “I was just chatting informally with some journalist but did not give any statement against demonetization, told HT.
Rajawat was accused of threatening people to cast their vote to BJP
He, however, said demonetization was affecting farmers due to currency crunch but the move would surely help to obtain black money. This is not the first time when he has got into the trouble because earlier he was accused of threatening people to give votes to the BJP in Kota during Municipal Corporation election in 2014. Several months ago, the three-time MLA from Ladpura had talked about gunning down the crocodiles that he said had been troubling the people of his constituency.
