Parking row 2005: Aditya Pancholi sentenced to one-year imprisonment

Parking row 2005: The Andheri Magistrate’s court convicted Aditya Pancholi and announced one-year imprisonment on allegations of assaulting his neighbor. The allegations against Pancholi were of hitting his neighbour in which his nose got fractured.

A fine of Rs 20,000 was also imposed on Pancholi by the magistrate court.

“The local magistrate’s court at suburban Andheri has convicted Pancholi for assaulting and criminal intimidation”, said a senior police official. However, he was released on a bail of Rs 12,000.

Aditya Pancholi’s neighbour had parked his car at the parking area earmarked for Parsani(Pacholi’s neighbour) to which he objected at Magnum Opus apartments, Versova. Parsani demanded the vehicle to be removed from the his parking area, however, Aditya Pancholi aggresively reacted to this and a brawl initiated after which he allegedly hit Parsani.

After Parsani’s medical report revealed about the nose fracture, a complaint was filed by the police against Pancholi on charges of criminal intimidation and intentions to cause hurt.

Earlier the actor had been denying all the charges against him calling them false. On Saturday, the court announced that the charges were proved against Pancholi.
