Sandesh to Soldiers: PM Narendra Modi has sent a message to the Indian masses to devote this Diwali to soldiers. The PM has urged the Indians to send a message to the Jawans who are toiling at the border, fighting for the security of the nation.

The campaign led by PM Modi is called #Sandesh2Soldiers persuading the masses to send good wishes through letters and messages to the Indian army this Diwali.

“On festivals we remember our loved ones. Send your love and wishes to our soldiers who give up their life and comfort for our safety.”

In a tweet, PM Modi had urged the masses to support this cause.

PM sent the message through the NaMo App, Doordarshan and MyGov.in.

Sandesh to Soldiers

A special feature has been added on the NaMo application to let the people send messages to the Indian army. This noble cause is meant to honour the sacrifices of Indian Army and to enhance the interaction between the soldiers and the people of India.

Apart from these platforms, the cause will also be promoted through the All India Radio- Akashvani programme. It is said by the officials that the PM is publicising a cause himself through the video for the first time ever. The video depicts the various emotions through the messages sent by a child, a mother and a layman to the Jawans labouring at the border.
