Rahul attacks PM Modi: Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi while scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said demonetization move is not a brave step taken by him and termed it as “foolish decision”. He said PM took it without any information and consultation.

Protest led by TMC and Congress against demonetisation
The government decision of demonetization has completed a month on Thursday. The opposition observed a day as a black day as a mark of protest. The protest was led by Congress and TMC in which other opposition parties also participated and gathered in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside parliament and observed silence.
Talking to media, Rahul Gandhi torn out on Prime Minster Narendra Modi and said “his demonetization move completed one month. It has devastated poor, farmers, daily wage workers. We want to have a discussion. We want a vote but the government doesn’t.”
PM Modi is Shifting his position over the issue of black money
Attacking Modi, Rahul charged him with shifting his position continuously on the issue of black money. He said,” PM’s tale has changed. He started by saying demonetization is against black money, then terrorism, then counterfeit currency and later cashless economy.”
He also attacked PM Modi’s idea of a cashless economy as anti-poor.The Congress Vice President also attacked Modi’s idea of the cashless economy as anti-poor. He said, “If I am allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha, I will tell everybody that how Paytm means “PAY TO MODI”.”

He further said the scheme is for a few people. The idea behind cashless economy is to give a benefit to a few people from these transactions which have damaged the country.“The public is suffering due to the move and other side PM Modi is laughing,” Said Rahul.
Holding the government responsible for the logjam in both houses of the Parliament, Rahul said, “The responsibility of running the House is with the government and Speaker, not the Opposition . PM Modi is running away, if he comes to the House for debate, we won’t let him run.”
