Asgardia first space nation: The entire world is stupified over the news of the first ever space nation dubbed Asgardia. A group of scientists from the Aerospace International Research Centre (AIRC) along with engineers, businessmen and lawyers have recently unveiled its plan to launch it soon.
Dr Igor Ashurbeyli is one of the lead scientists working on Asgardia. He is a scientist of the Russian federation.
“Physically the citizens of that nation state will be on Earth; they will be living in different countries on Earth, so they will be a citizen of their own country and at the same time they will be citizens of Asgardia…And when the number of the applications goes above 100,000 we can officially apply to the UN for the status of a state.”

It would be the first ever nation state in the space. It has been named after a mythical city in the sky ruled by Odin in the Norse mythology.
It is claimed that the space nation will be a place where no country-based laws will exist. People will be offered a citizenship of this sky city.

To apply for its citizenship you will have to fill out a form on the official website. If you are willing to acquire its citizenship, you might want to hurry up since it has already recorded above 25,000 requests for the citizenship of the sky city.
The first satellite is scheduled for launch next year that would mark the commencement of the project in physical terms.
