Belgium's Princess Maria Laura is set to marry her British-French fiance Mr William Isvy next month in Brussels, Belgium. This will be the biggest Belgian royal wedding of the year.
The last Belgian royal wedding took place in 2014, when Princess Maria Laura's older brother Prince Amedeo married Elisabetta Maria Rosboch von Wolkenstein.
Princess Maria Laura is the granddaughter of King Albert II and the daughter of Princess Astrid of Belgium.
William Isvy was born in Paris and grew up in London. Isvy works as an analyst at Millennium Capital.
Princess Maria Laura and William Isvy met in London in 2015. They got engaged in late 2021, when Isvy proposed to Laura with a diamond and sapphire engagement ring.
Maria has announced that she will marry her fiance (William Isvy) on September 10, 2022 at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels.
Maria and William are currently living in London. Maria works as a climate analyst at the NGO Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF).
