Joey DeFrancesco (1971 – 2022), an American jazz organist passed away on Thursday morning (August 25). He died at the age of 51.

Gloria DeFrancesco who is the wife as well as manager of Joey shared the news about his death on social media.

The love of my life is now in peace with the angels. Right now I have very few words. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support coming in from everywhere. Joey loved you all.

Joey DeFrancesco

He was a well-known Jazz organist, trumpeter, saxophonist, and occasional singer. 

Joey married Gloria DeFrancesco on July 24, 2011. He was survived by his wife and his only daughter, Ashley Blue Defrancesco, at the time of his passing. 

Joey released his debut album All of Me under Columbia Records in 1989, when he was only 17 years old.

More than 30 albums have been released under his own name. Throughout his career, Joey DeFrancesco collaborated with a lot of well-known artists.
