Wizkid & Tems Are Top Winners at 2022 Headies Awards

The 15th annual Headies Awards were presented on Sunday at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, with Wizkid and Tems taking home the top prizes (Sept. 4).

Wizkid won album of the year for Made in Lagos (Deluxe Edition) in addition to their two joint wins, and Tems won best female artist & best R&B album for If Orange Was a Place.

Wizkid and Tems took up the top prizes of the evening for their international hit "Essence," which American rapper Kanye West recently proclaimed to be the greatest song in music history.
