There have been news reports on Tuesday morning that indicates that nearly 100 terrorists are ready to infiltrate in Indian Territory and they may attack army bases and also can cause damage to common people living near the border areas. India is already on a high alert after Indian army conducted surgical strikes across LoC and killed more than 40 terrorists.
Now the news has got an official confirmation after the High-level meeting of PM Modi on security.
On Tuesday morning, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on security. As per sources, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s report has brought to the notice of the cabinet committee on security chaired by the Prime Minister that around 100 terrorists are being prepared to infiltrate into the Indian Territory by crossing the Line of Control (LoC).
What bothers military and intelligence agencies is that Pakistan will definitely try to send a large number of terrorists across, into the Indian boundary with the aim of launching fresh terror attacks and to further disrupt the environment in Kashmir.
The group, comprising Home, Defence and Foreign Ministers, was informed that after the surgical strike initiated from the Indian side, Pakistani soldiers are involved in protecting the launch pads situated near the LoC. Sources at the meeting also informed that the locations of nearly a dozen launch pads have been traced.
Situation tensed on LoC after India’s Surgical Strikes
India’s surgical strike carried out by the Indian Armed Forces on September 29 came in response to the drastic terror attack on army camp in Uri claiming lives of 19 jawans. However, Pakistan is in strong denial of any such surgical strike taking place. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party also appreciated the government and the forces for their successful operation, but at the same time demanded the proofs be made public.
In a recent development, a news report by the Indian Express has come out as an indispensable evidence of surgical strikes being carried out, wherein the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) residents have narrated details of the same.
