Dear Zindagi Box Office Collection:
Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Dear Zindagi has made 8.75 Crore on its opening day, worldwide. The much awaited feature film saw decent occupancy in theatres across India. According to Trade Guru and Analyst Taran Adarsh ,” #DearZindagi has a STRONG start… Hi-end plexes of major centres contribute maximum… Fri 8.75 cr [1200 screens]. India biz.”
The feature film was released in over 1200 screens in the country and 600 screens in the overseas market, totaling together to 1800 screens the globe over. Due to a mid-week release in the United States it was expected to collect around 8-10 crores from worldwide collections, It did live up to the stats and garnered 8.75 Crores. Taran Adarsh’s shared this tweet, , ” #DearZindagi had a midweek release in USA [Thanksgiving Weekend]… Collected an IMPRESSIVE $ 172,571 [1.19 cr] on Wednesday. @Rentrak.”

The cast of the movie has some very talented individuals besides Alia Bhatt as the protagonist, Shah Rukh Khan as a psychiatrist cum mentor, we also have Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar , Aditya Roy Kapoor and Angad Bedi in the mix of things. It would be interesting to see how the movie is narrated by Director Gauri Shinde as this is her second feature film. Her first film English Vinglish was a treat to watch, as the content of the movie and the direction along with great acting skills from the veteran Sridevi , who played the lead in that movie, had some beautiful moments of Human Nature and Pure Expression.
