50 cent son Marquise offered $6700 to build their relationship.
Marquise Jackson, the oldest child of 50 Cent, is willing to pay his father $6,700 in return for 24 hours of quality time.
On Monday, Marquise shared a photo of himself seated next to the word “entitled” written out on $100 bills on Instagram he said, ‘Since y’all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid’
The comment refers to a post that 50 Cent uploaded on Instagram years ago and which later became one of several posts argued in court following his bankruptcy filing. 50 tried to convince the court that prop money was used in images like the one below in order to discourage them from inquiring into unexplained financial holdings.
Marquise’s remark about people thinking “$6,700 is sooo much money” is in response to the backlash he received for arguing that $6,700 per month in child support wasn’t enough.
According to Marquise, ‘Though his father provided $81,000 in child support annually, it was insufficient.’
He said during an Instagram Live with cameraman Choke No Joke that his father’s $6,700 monthly payments weren’t enough to support life in New York City. He noted that considering the nature of his father, he should have offered a larger donation.
He added, ‘$6,700 a month in the state of New York City, you do the math’. Additionally, ‘You’re talking about a Forbes lister. You’re talking about someone that has problems with everybody. You can’t just live in any neighborhood. $81,000 is not a substantial amount of money [because] you can’t just live anywhere. You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can’t just live anywhere.’
