Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission( JSSC) has introduced the online application process for the recruitment of post graduate teacher across the state. There are 513 PGT posts (for Physics, Chemistry, and History) to fill and a simple procedure has been apprised for the recruitment – a competitive exam- Post Graduate Trained Teacher Competitive Examination 2016 (PGTTCE-2016), followed by an interview will be there.
Freshers and teachers having 3 years experience both are eligible for the exam.
JSSC Jharkhand Government ameliorating Education standards
- Seat availability– 258 posts to be filled through direct recruitment (includes 86 posts of PGT in Physics, Chemistry, History each) and 255 posts to be filled with teachers having 3 years experience( includes 85 posts of PGT in Physics, Chemistry, History each).
- Online application- the Online application will be available at jssc.in. All the eligible candidates will be required to pay Rs. 500 (for general candidates) and Rs 125 (for SC/ST candidates) as the application fee for the competitive exam. The last date of filling application forms PGTTCE-2016 is December 30, 2016, until 5pm.
Candidates are advised to go through all the instructions given in the brochure before filling the application form.
Jharkhand government is primarily concentrating on education conditions of the state. They have already conducted TET-2016 and now they are going for PGTTCE-2016. JSSC has notified that the selection of these PG posts would be done through competitive exam i.e written exam.
All the candidates first have to appear in a preliminary test i.e will contain General Knowledge and out of them, 7500-8000 candidates will be called for mains. Dates regarding the examination have not been informed yet. Interested candidates will be notified as soon as any announcement is made by selection commission, JSSC.
