In the first innings, Gujarat Lions is on strikes and enters Dwayne Smith and Brendon McCullum on the crease. Smith start the first overs with boundaries and set 18 runs in the first over. McCullum too is too in an action in the 2nd over. By 8th over McCullum set his 50 runs at just 27 balls and so did Smith and the team score has also reached to 100 runs by just 9th over. 10th over on Tahir ball, Dwayne Smith is lbw out and on 11th over balled by C Morris, Brendon McCullum is bowled out. Raina is too out on C Morris ball; now enter Jadeja and Karthik. But on the 14th over baleed by Duminy to Jadeja is caught out; 16th over Tahir to Kishan is caught out. Now Duminy and Rishabh Pant holds the situation very well while on balled by Faulkner to Rishabh Pant is caught out. Duminy on 17th over balled by Bravo is bowled out, enters Morris.
