On Saturday, special prayers were offered at Vishnupad Mandir in Gaya for the speedy recovery of Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj. The prayer was organized under the leadership of Bhartiya Janta Party councilor Krishan Kumar Singh, hoping for the fast recovery of Sushma Swaraj who is admitted to AIIMs due to kidney failure. The MEA Swaraj is under treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after kidney failure. She was admitted to the hospital on November7.

Swaraj is presently being monitored by a team of doctors, The64-year-oldd minister who is also a diabetes patient in on dialysis. She was also admitted to the hospital in April this year due to pneumonia and other health issues.
She could go abroad for treatment, but showing patriotism; she is getting treatment in India only. For her fast recovery, we organized a special prayer for Lord Vishnu, so that she can recover fast and get back to the work to serve the nation again, said Krishan Kumar Singh.
People stepped out to donate their kidney to her
On the other hand, many people from the country came forward to donate their kidney to her as after admitted her to the hospital, there were thousands of calls of kidney donors reportedly received by the AIIMS officials. Most of the calls were from Hindi Belt; however, one caller from Tamil Nadu was eager to donate his kidney for which he had made more than 10 calls since 7 am at AIIMS office on Friday. He wanted to know the procedure of donating his kidney. But, an official who was on duty that time asked to call the relevant authority to know the exact procedure.
Sushma Swaraj informed about her kidney failure on twitter to her followers after that people from country stepped out to donate their kidney to her. Even many friends of her are offered to donate their kidney to Minister. “Some friends have also offered their kidney for my transplant. I have no words to express my deep sense of gratitude towards them,”said Swaraj.
