27 May 2016: In a tragic incident, a mountaineer who went missing a week ago in the Mount Everest was found lying dead nearly above 8,000 meters in the world’s highest mountain. A 58 year old Paresh Chandra Nath, was reportedly found dead on Friday, after the search team attempts to locate another Indian climber.
According to the source, the rescuers team retrieved the body of Paresh Chandra Nath above the camp IV and the body was brought to the camp II. The managing director, Wangchu Sherpa managed the expedition and divided into teams.
It is learnt that, due to the high wind force, the rescuers could not trace the other body of the climber Gautam Ghosh which is above 8,000 meters high in the mountain.
According to the report, nearly five people have died during the attempt for the Himalayan Climbing this season. Paresh Chandra Nath and Gautam Ghosh who was nearly 8,848 meter high last Saturday have lost contact with the other Indian climbers.
According to the source, nearly 400 mountaineers summit the world’s highest peak. During this mountain climbing, about three dozen suffered sickness and frostbite for the last few days. A Nepali Guide died on Thursday after he fell down from 2,000 meters. A Dutch and an Australian woman also died due to the high altitude illness last week on Friday. An Indian climber also died few days ago after suffering from sickness, says the report.
In overall as per the report, total 19 mountain climber have died due to the landslide that have occurred due to the earthquake and approximately 40 Indians mountain climbers endured with frostbite during the Himalayan Mountain climbing.
According to the last year’s report, the mountain climbing has been cancelled due to the cause of dreadful earthquake and nearly 16 sherpa guides have been killed during the attempt to the mountain climbing in the year 2014 after the sudden flood that triggered above the base camp.
