18 June 2016: A 22-year-old woman has been thrown out of a running train between Kalyan and Thakurli late Thursday evening by a man who reportedly entered into the ladies compartment that turned into an argument between them. However, the woman is saved now and is recovering.
According to the reports, Rekha Navle along with her mother Sarita had boarded the train from Nashik in the Gorakhpur Express to Thane. Rekha is an IT Engineering, final year student. As they were sitting in their compartment, a man by a name Dinesh Yadav had come to their compartment to see his wife and kids.
As per the mid-day news reports, Rekha asked the man not to enter the ladies compartment. They were sitting near the door. Then Dinesh stamped on them after which they had a horrible argument. Following their argument, Rekha had informed the Railway police force after which the traveller had gone down. But after the train started, the traveller has once again got into their compartment where she had a dispute with the man again at Kasara and Igatpuri station, Rekha said.
Later, Rekha and her mother stood near the door to a light at Thane. The same situation occurred between them and the accused have pushed Rekha’s mother and she was thrown off a running train. She said to the reporter that she had fallen down on the ground after she was pushed from the running train. And her mother hit the door and fell inside the train.
It is learned that Rekha has been spotted by a private banker and family and she was immediately rushed to the Fortis hospital in Kalyan. She is undergoing her treatment currently and the doctors attending to Rekha said to the correspondent that, “The girl has some injuries on her head. But she is out of danger.”
The accused has been arrested by the police and a case has been registered by the Dombivli GRP, as stated by the GRP officials.
It is learned that Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, Mayor, Rajendra Devlekar had visited Rekha in the hospital and have let Rekha speak to Minister Eknath Shinde who have given assurance of help for her medical treatment.
