17 June 2016: Film Maker Karan Johar during the event says that no film-maker can function without the popular search engine on Google as movies are all about research.
According to the reports, Karan said during the event on Google’s new experiences for the Indian film industry, “We are all always researching, when we make movies like emotions, historical and sometimes just modality research. There is no film-maker who can function without the functions of Google.”
Karan also stated that Google is like a Mother that has an answer to everything, sometimes even the answers you may not want to read it but you have to, because it is available to the world, as quoted by Karan during the event. He also said that all our search engines go towards Bollywood, Google is being such a large platform. Bollywood and Google have a relationship.
He also further describes regarding the amazing experience of the functions of Google that “it is one sort of one stop shop. Google has now become the part of daily parlance; it’s almost like hello and good morning, Google it, it’s as simple. I think that’s fantastic; one big brand that becomes the part of your day that comes in an extraordinary way.”
The film-maker also shared some of his obstacles in his careers and also big hits like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hain’. Karan expressed his feelings about Google, “I absolutely love Google, who doesn’t, and we all love Google. Look me up and you’ll find all my box-office Hits on Google; what you will also find are my box-office disasters”, Karan joked at the event.
Karan’s upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hain Muskhil’ features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
