Diplomatic and Strategical Relationship between India and Egypt has been really strong and both holds good cultural, traditional and economical bonding. And as a proof of that, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will begin his three-day official visit to India on Thursday. The Egyptian President is visiting New Delhi on the invitation of his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee.
On the first day of his visit, during which he is expected to hold talks with the top Indian leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The delegations and leaders of both the nations can expectedly discuss on key issues including Terrorism and deepening economic engagement.
Other than Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Egyptian President’ will meet Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari and business leaders from India and Egypt during the visit.
Accepting the invitation by the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Egyptian President is arriving today. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had earlier informed that al-Sisi will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising of ministers, officials and business leaders.
Traditionally, India and Egypt share excellent relations marked by strong, traditional and civilizational ties that contribute towards peace and development in the world. Both nations also have a strong economic relationship as India is Egypt’s sixth largest trading partner and there is an active cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
