Michael Goguen, a U.S venture capitalist who was the partner at the firm Sequoia Capital, is facing the heat of his lifetime due to sexual abuse allegations.
Amber Baptiste, mistress of Goguen alleged that she has been a sexual slave for 13 years, after meeting him at a Texas strip Club when she was fifteen.
In a recent development, Micheal Goguen has filed a counter-petition against the woman on March 14, 2016, claiming that she has attempted to extort him.
Micheal Goguen has filed the counter-suit in San Mateo County Superior Court in California. In the suit, he claims that Amber Baptiste has breached the contracts, and has infringed his privacy.
In her law suite, Amber Baptiste has alleged that Micheal has paid only $10 million instead of the $40 million promised for settling sexual abuse claims. Amber also added that she is a victim of human trafficking.
Sequoia has not commented on these developments, and they made it clear that Micheal Goguen is no longer a part of the firm. According to CNBC, Sequoia has fired Micheal after learning about the $40 million agreement.
Goguen has been the part of Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist firm for the past twenty years, and he is backed by World’s top companies which include Oracle Inc, Google Inc and Apple Inc.
The allegations from Baptiste are quite serious in nature, and it is expected to create huge negative impacts in the career of Goguen.
In her complaint, she has mentioned clearly that the young businessman has exploited her sexually, physically and emotionally.
According to Baptiste, the 52-year-old businessman who was the husband of two other women in that period had compelled her to engage in worse sexual activities which include forced sodomy.
The lady also revealed that she had to undergo surgery to repair the anal tear which happened due to a wild encounter.
