The numerous efforts of Anna Hazare-led anti-corruption movement gave way to the passing of the Lok Pal Bill in the Parliament which had been pending for a long time. Anna Biopic Movie Review
Lousy Screenplay
The movie Anna: Kisan Baburao Hazare has a poor screenplay. The screenplay of a movie is meant to depict the story in a perfect sequence of events so as to tells the story in a manner. However, the biopic has been made needlessly complex and the events that follow on after the other do not depict the life story of Anna Hazare perfectly.
Missed Out on Important Facts
There was no mention of Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav in the anti-corruption movements led by Anna. However, in reality, these figures have been seen by Anna’s side on most of the Anti-corruption movements by Anna and in his Anshans as well.
Struggles and Fight against Corruption
The movie is all about the life struggles and fights against the corruption of the social activist. While the movie focuses on Anna’s fight only, some of the events have been unreasonably magnified in the movie.
First Day Collection
The first-day collection of the movie is 1.8 crore rupees. It was expected that the movie will have a grand opening, however, it couldn’t fetch much limelight on its first day.
The movie portrays Anna as the only hero in the fight against corruption. However, the movie gives you a complete view of the life story of Anna Hazare and that is something which urges you to go watch the movie.
We suggest that you go watch the movie and decide for yourself.
