Aam Aadmi Party plans conspiracy to sack Chhotepur: Hours before assembly elections in Punjab, AAM Aadmi Party leader has stirred controversies after revealing the truth behind the conspiracy for getting out Sucha Singh Chhotepur from the party.
During a press conference, AAP leader Gurlabh Singh Mahal claimed that the sting operation conducted against sacked Sucha Singh Chhotepur was indeed a well-planned conspiracy emerged by none other than the party leaders.

He also alleged that the rising stature of Sucha Singh Chhotepur was causing a threat to AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, therefore he was out of the party. The statement comes just hours before when Punjab is scheduled to witness elections on February 4.
Gurlabh Singh Mahar also claimed that AAP leaders including Sanjay Singh, Durgesh Pathak, Harjot Bains and Himmat Singh Shergill planned the conspiracy against Chhotepurt and captures it on the camera. Chhotepur was later expelled from the party when he denied allegation against him.
After sacking, Chhotepur formed his own political party
Thereafter, he formed his own party named Apna Punjab Party (APP) and fielded the candidates for the polls in the state. Mahar said he had become a Sikh face in Punjab with the majority of the party activists supporting him resulted Kejriwal planned a conspiracy to eliminate Chhotepur.
He was questioned why he chose to reveal the truth just hours before of the assembly elections, Mahal told, “My conscience had been pricking me for a long time now. If it wouldn’t have been now, it wouldn’t have been ever. I think, it is good that I took the decision to expose Kejriwal, even if it is two days before the polls. Post polls, the burden would not have ever come off.”
