The Rio Olympics is a global platform for all, where all politicians come up together. All players are equal leaving stateism behind and representing India as a single team. But is this statement is true after the comments of Haryana sports Minister, Anil Vij.
The Minister Anil Vij twitted a storm on Friday, “I am heading a delegation to #Rio to encourage our players. Our focus will be on the games of Haryana players.” With these statements, the Vij is demoralising sportspersons. This statement brings up with the issue of stateism for all the sports that are fighting constantly for the victory of the country.

The Olympics is a great platform for all the players of nation to come together. This year, the India has sent huge number of players to Olympics. More than 100 players have gone to Rio this year representing the entire country, not a single state. Not just 21 players from Haryana needs motivation, but all the players need it to give their best in the Rio Olympics.
But the statement of Vij has demotivated every player who is struggling to win in the Rio Olympics. It brings up with the issue of stateism and was not expected from the sports minister. The Olympics is an international platform that is equal for all the countries. Here, state does not matter.
No country can talk about the participants of other country. The congress took up the opportunity to hit the BJP government for not including sportspersons in the delegation.
