The company liked a lot the dual-curved edge displays and the rumour is in the air, it will be launching the Galaxy S8 with the edge version same as was done with the Galaxy Note 7. No doubt, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note have amazing curved displays but the company wants to add more terrific features to the curved portions of the display.
The Apple is planning to make iPhones with curved screens in the future that will help the Samsung upto some extent. According to a report, the Apple is trying for curved displays, which the users can see in the upcoming models of iPhone or in the iPhone having has a Galaxy S7 edge-like display.
According to Apple research, such type of iPhones will have curved edges featuring house virtual buttons and switches and haptic feedback components. The iPhones edges will not have physical buttons as were on the non-screen sides of iPhones.

The Apple does not have any plan to remove the physical buttons of the iPhone, without removing the side features of the iPhone. The images displayed on the display tells the user about the current function which is performed by the virtual button. The pre known inputs of the touch-sensitive layer on the edge of the device will be used to change the operating mode of the device.
This is not at the first time that the iPhone’s real buttons might be replaced by virtual 3D Touch buttons. The Apple will come up with an amazing iPhone design including an AMOLED display, and which lacks physical buttons. Some may be saying that the Apple is copying Samsung, but Apple first applied for the same in May 2014, before the Samsung launched its Galaxy Note edge.
The edge on Samsung smart phones does not have features that display information; it has not provided the feedback that allows Samsung to replace the physical buttons. The fact is that the Samsung edge phones still have buttons on its sides, and the Samsung might have to copy Apple’s future curved iPhones.
