Arnab Goswami farewell speech: After the resignation of Arnab Goswami the Editor-in-Chief and the President of Times Now India, the nation has been in shock. Ever since Goswami abruptly parted ways with the news channel, the masses have been wondering what exactly must’ve been the reason behind the news baron’s resignation.
While many have been saying that Goswami left the news channel owing to irreconcilable differences with the owner of Bennet Coleman & Co. Ltd., Raj Jain, Vineet Jain and Sameer Jain. However, the real reason is said to be the life threats that Arnab Goswami had been receiving from quite some time from a Pak terrorist outfit as suspected by the Indian Intelligence Bureau.
Now Goswami will receive “Y category” security. He will be guarded by 20 security personnel including 2 personal security officers who will be providing protection to Arnab by acting as his chaperones.
“Goswami is being given security on the basis of a threat-perception analysis by the IB. We will go by the IB recommendation. He faces threats from Pakistan-based terrorist groups due to his comments against them on Times Now.”

Recently, Arnab Goswami’s unofficial farewell speech was leaked on the internet in which he is seen sharing a few words before parting with his staff. He says in the speech, “The game has just begun.”
With a sense of poignancy, he apologized from his staff for shouting at them which he said he did to make their news channel a better one.
“Nobody can teach us independent media. It has come and I have been able to do it only because of you.”
His show, The News Hour with Arnab Goswami had taken the news channel to great heights ranking it in leading news channels.
