Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel aimed at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal saying he is misleading the people of Gujarat after failing to give good governance to his ruling state Delhi. Kejriwal is on a four-day visit to Gujarat.
Patel said that Kejriwal’s ministers should be suspended for their name in various controversies that have been reached the courts which have even spoiled the image of his government many times.
Patel was in Rajkot on Friday to grant two housing scheme one developed by Housing Board and another developed by Rajkot Municipal Corporation. It is worth mentioning here that RMC has constructed more that 1666 housing unit and Gujarat Housing Board has constructed 1688 Units in Rajkot.
Soon, the problem of drinking water in the state will be resolved: Patel
Patel said while addressing the gathering of beneficiaries that the government has issued tenders of Rs 500 crore to fill Aji (1) dam with Narmada water under Saurashtra Narmada Avtaran Yojna (SUANU) in coming days. He further said the people facing drinking water would be resolved permanently once the project is done. The work is under progress to widen Morbi-Rajkot highway where the government is making six-lane highway which will reduce the distance and time of the journey between Ahmadabad-Rajkot.
Kejriwal attacked BJP saying its leaders don’t want me to visit in Gujarat
On the other hand, after landing at the airport Kejriwal said that it is learnt that Amit Shah and BJP are trying to disrupt my rally because they are scared to AAP. This is not just a rally but it is the rally of people of Gujarat. If they disrupt the rally means they will be playing the sentiments of people of the State. Hopefully, they would not do this kind of activity said AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.
Kejriwal landed at the airport in Ahmadabad on Friday evening on a four-day visit to Gujarat to encourage the Patel community ahead of the 2017 assembly election. He will also meet the family members of those who were killed in clashes with the police during Patel quota agitation in August2015. He will further address the mass of Surat in Varachha is the strong place of Patel’s.
