Blackbuck Poaching case: Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam are going to give their statement before a court in Jodhpur in a few hours in their trial in 1998 old Blackbuck poaching case.
Salman Khan Poaching case: he has accused of killing the two blackbucks
They had reached Jodhpur on Thursday. An earlier Jodhpur court had asked them to appear on the January 25, but the stars had urged exemption in view of the security situation ahead of Republic Day.
Salman Khan has accused of killing the two blackbucks, which are rare species, in October 1998, when they all had gone to Jodhpur to shoot for the film Hum Sath Sath Hain. The others, who accompanied him in the Gypsy, had provoked him.
Bishnoi community had filed against case Salman and others mates
A case was filed against the actors and Dushyant Singh after the protests staged by the local Bishnoi community. Even as the prosecution witnesses have already recorded their statements in the court, now the accused cast including Salman Khan will record their statement in the case.
It is worth mentioning here that, recently the Rajasthan High court has acquitted Salman Khan in two cases of killing Chinkara deer, for which the lower court had sent him to Jail.
