After the world got to know about the death of Screen icon, there have been many of his lovers who are paying him the tribute and honouring and remembering him the way they can. Gene Wilder was a great Comedy Icon and his fans who are simply touched by his talent have paid tribute to the actor on social media.
Following the death of screen icon Gene Wilder on Sunday, the members of Coldplay are the latest in a long line of celebrities to memorialise Wilder, but instead of taking the more traditional route, the band let their music do the talking.
On Tuesday, Coldplay shared a video on Twitter of a cover of “Pure Imagination,” a song from Wilder’s best-known film, 1971’s “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.”

“Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination.” With this, Coldplay honoured actor Gene Wilder during their show in Denver last night.
The group covered “Pure Imagination,” a song that Wilder sang when he played Willy Wonka in the 70s film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
