Dancing with the stars is just a week away from finals and the semifinals got the final four who will take each other to the wire to become the mirror ball trophy winner. The semifinal was tough and the contestants tapped into their feelings and delivered some exceptional performances but at the end of the show, one team had to move out. Despite delivering power packed performances in previous seasons, Terra and Sasha had to go home.
Sasha and Terra eliminated from show
Terra Jole and Sasha Farber enthralled the judges with their fabulous performances. Their performance was full of strength, confidence and power. Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko got high score for their cheesy quicksteps followed by Calvin and Lindsay steamy dance from hit single ‘Seven Nation Army’.
Laurie’s emotional tribute to her grand-mom
While everyone gave their hearts out, it was Laurie and Val who were the stars of the show. Laurie visited her grandmother along with the show correspondents who interviewed her and recorded a special message from her granddaughter before she died the very next day due to Alzheimer. Laurie’s performance was so emotional and heart wrenching that everyone cried after she delivered stupendously.
Night of powerful performances
The judges pointed out and everyone brought their class on the floor. James and Sharna who are known to be power packed couple and strong contender for winning Dancing with the stars trophy enlisted the help of Jenna in the trio performance.
Terra and Sasha who were shown the door called Artem Chigvintsev as their third partner. Jana and Gleb brought Alan Bursten on board after he filled in for the “DWTS” pro in weeks prior. Calvin and Lindsay called on former pro Witney Carson, while Laurie and Val looked to family, bringing Maksim Chmerkovskiy on to their team
Dancing with the stars had some powerful performances by the contestants and now the finale to premiere next week everyone is keeping their fingers crossed for their favorite contestants.
