Dangal Box Office Collection: Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s Dangal has made superb collection at the Indian box office on the first day. But the movie failed to beat the record of Salman Khan’s Sultan.
Aamir Khan is made his comeback to big screen with Dangal two years after the release of PK. That is why Dangal has created a lot of curiosity among film goers. Adding to this are its story and promos, which garnered huge attention for the movie. The makers also ensured the film got good publicity.
Dangal Box Office Collection: Second highest opening of the year!!
On the opening day, this Walt Disney Pictures’ presentation Dangal opened up with tremendous occupancy of more than 80% in India and witnessed impressive footfall in multiplexes. As per the report, the movie has done the business of 28 crores on domestic box office from its Hindi version and emerged as the second highest opening of the year after Salman Khan’s Sultan (36.54 crores).
The film is expected to cross Rs 100 crores in first weekend. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared, “#Dangal wrestles demonetisation… Sets the BO on fire… Ends the lull phase… Fri ₹ 29.78 cr [incl ₹ 59 lacs from Tamil and Telugu].”

As per critics Dangal is one of the best movies of 2016, which stands high on all aspects. Each & every scene is impactful and grips you completely. All the actors have given brilliant performances, especially Aamir Khan & Fatima Sana Sheikh.
