The much awaited DDA Housing Scheme 2016 has been announced by the Delhi Development Authority. Under this scheme around 13000flats in different areas across the Delhi would be allotted. DDA Housing Scheme 2016 applications process will be completed online, brochures will also be available online. For people’s privilege and to bring more transparency, avoid the long queues at the banks, the application will be accepted through online modes.
Online Applications for DDA Housing Scheme 2016
Till now, no exact dates has been finalized but the online application for DDA Housing scheme 2016 is expected to invite from the end of the December or beginning of January 2017. The concerned department has taken the step on inviting online applications to decrease the burden of the banks especially in times when there are already long queues of the people at the banks post demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

Flats offer by DDA under the DDA Housing Scheme 2016
More than 13000 flats would be offered under the 2016 housing scheme. Out of which, more than 1500 flats will be offered only to lower income group of the society and rest will be for other categories. These are the complete details of the flats given below being offered under the scheme.
Location of flats
The flats under 2016 housing scheme are located in various colonies across the national capital such as Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Pitampura, Narela, Rohini, Sukhdev Vihar, Dwarka, Loknayakpuram, Dilshad Garden, Jahangir puri, Paschim Vihar, Bindapur and Mukherjee Nagar.
Application fee for DDA Housing Scheme 2016
Application money for DDA housing scheme has been revised and the new fee will be as below
Janta, LIG, & EHS (Expendable Housing Scheme) – Rs. 1 Lakh per application
MIG and HIG – Rs. 2 Lakh per application

Under this scheme, most flats are old constructions and for the surrendered flats of 2014scheme.
If anyone withdraws their application before the scheme’s draw, the entire application will be refunded without any interest, But, if the allottee surrenders the flat or apply for cancellation of allotment, no refund will be done. In such case, his/her entire application money will be forfeited.
