Dear Zindagi movie: After Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” it will be Gauri Shinde’s “Dear Zindagi” that will be facing the heat of the Pak artistes ban. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Shahrukh Khan and Fawad Khan. Owing to the Indo-Pak tussle and the consequent ban on the Pak Artistes, the Paki singer, Ali Zafar will not be seen in the movie trailer despite being a part of the film.
It is also being said that even the omission of Ali Zafar’s role in the movie is being considered.

Ali is not part of the trailer, but chopping off his role completely isn’t possible since he is crucial to the narration. His fate will be decided after the release of ADHM.

While the sources added that it was not possible to oppose the ban but make peace with the situation in the current circumstances and therefore this regretful decision had to be taken by the filmmakers. Ali Zafar has been intimated about his exclusion from the movie trailer.
However, no comments have been received by the Pakistani singer Ali Zafar on this matter.
Meanwhile, the makers of the film seek to substitute the Paki singer’s songs in the movie with those of Indian composer’s songs.
The cast of the movie stayed mum on the matter and no remarks were received from Gauri Shinde either.
After Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, it is Ali Zafar who has become a victim of the Indo-Pak brawl. The movie is all set to release on November 25 this year.
