Deepika Padukone, the Xander cage actress who recently stepped into Hollywood has already made some amazing friends there. The actress recently said in an interview that Vin Diesel and his sister Samantha are like family to her.
While talking about her experience in Hollywood and during the shoot of her first Hollywood Film xXx: Xander Cage, she said that she was made to feel at home by the cast of the movie, especially by Vin Diesel and his sister Samantha.

“He and his sister, Samantha, are to me what Shah Rukh (Khan) and Farah (Khan) were when I started out here. They are family.”
“I was a bundle of nerves on my first day on set because I was so far away from home and everyone was new and everything felt unfamiliar. But early on I realised that the process is exactly the same. People are different. If you can make the relationships work, it’s all smooth sailing.”

Deepika had started her career with Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om which was directed by Farah Khan. Since then the actress maintains a close friendship with the two.
She also said that the first person she called in Los Angeles was Vin Diesel.
