Denmark is the world’s happiest nation

The fourth World Happiness Report has been released on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Once again, Denmark has reclaimed its position as the happiest destination in the globe, while Burundi emerged as the World’s troubled nation. Switzerland, Norway and Iceland stands next to Dane in happiness quotient.

According to the recently released report, it is inequality and the vast difference between rich and poor which creates unhappiness among people. Countries like the United States are witnessing wide disparities in income, wealth and health divided, and this is creating political discontent among people of these nations.

There is no surprise that Burundi became the least happy nation, as last year’s political crisis has affected the country very badly. Madagascar, Liberia, Tongo, Syria and Afghanistan are other unhappy countries in the world.

All the blue states mentioned above are getting troubled by wars, diseases, and poverty.

The study analyzed the living conditions of 156 countries around the world, and finally rated Denmark, the small Scandinavian country as the place where people smile from the heart.

Citizens in Dane feels secured, as there are less drastic events, minimal corruption and the absence of natural disasters.
The research team has also studied about people’s access to medical care, job security and other miscellaneous social factors before releasing the findings.

Here, women hold more than 43% of top-rated public sector jobs which is considered as an influential factor which indicates gender equality.

People who live in Denmark has free access to a general practitioner and hospitals, and this is something remarkable in nature.

The US is placed in the 13th spot while the United Kingdom bagged the 23rd position. The United Arab Emirates slipped down the rankings from 20 to 28. India is in 118th spot.
