Doodle For Google: This year’s theme for Doodle4Google was “If I could teach someone, It would be..” and Anvita Prashant Telang, a sixth grader from Pune ha won this competition. Her doodle was titled “Live in the Present”.
Doodle For Google – Anvita Telang announced to be the National Finalist
The web giant has been running competitions since 2009 and one such competition was held this year for the Children’s day which the 11-year-old Anvita has won. Her doodle has fetched much praise all over India. Anvita’s doodle has been chosen for display on google’s homepage as can be seen today. This is how Google chose to celebrate Children’s Day, that marks the birth anniversary of Jawahar Lal Nehru.
“It’s heartening to see the messages that these young minds wish to communicate with such creativity. It was a tough competition”, said Google India.
Many outstanding artworks were received by Google. The winner was chosen on the basis of her unique approach to the doodle, as well as for the best depiction of the theme.
Anvita’s doodle was indicative of carefree living and enjoying the present moment that was applauded by the judges. Public votes also helped in the choice of the winner.
