Former Minister Salman Khurshid : An online portal duped former external affairs minister and senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid after ordering puppies from and e-commerce site.
Khurshid reportedly ordered a set of two Maltese puppies through an e-commerce website but two men duped him of an amount of Rs59, 000.

The former minister filed a case against them in the crime branch of the Delhi police, cops have initiated an probe into the matter.
As per reports, the accused named Tonny Wallace had published the advertisement on an e-commerce website about the sale of two Maltese Puppies at a rate of Rs 12,000each. They had also mentioned their email address for communication with the buyers which Khurshid used to contact them.
Khurshid sent an email to them which he expressed his interested in buying the puppies and then he got email of buyer in reply of his mail said he was in Thekkar, Kerala. He asked him for making the payment through e-transaction for which khurshid agreed to pay.
Accused promised him to deliver puppies but ignored calls and emails after receiving money
Tonny sent him his account details via email of his friend and co-accused Ankit Bhandari and asked for the transfer of the whole amount. Khurshid asked Tonny to speak to his office o boy Sachin Kumar to complete the purchase after which Kumar transferred Rs 59,000 to his account.
When Tonny received amount, he told khurshid to contact him on his US toll number or through Facebook profile even he started increasing his demand of money on the pretext of health checks, health certificates and travel expenses of the puppies.
Accused promised to deliver puppies through a pet travel agency, namely Pacific Pet Re- Locator agency and then he started ignoring calls and emails of Khurshid. After that Khurshid decided to approach the police about duping.
