Haraamkhor Trailer: The trailer of Haraamkhor, starring Nawajuddin Siddiqui is finally out. It deals with the unwanted romantic relationship between a teacher and his student.
The movie treads on a thin rope where it’s hard to differentiate between lust, love and illicit relationship. The story revolves around a school teacher which is played by Nawajuddin Siddiqui and a minor girl, played by ‘Masaan’ fame, Shweta Tripathi.
The trailer is filled with peppy music funny in parts and serious in other sprinkled with the perfect dash of impeccable acting.

Against visuals set in the village, the main characters of the film are- the teacher, the student, the small boy who has a crush on the same girl and his friend who helps him and the teacher’s wife. A hilarious turn of events ensues as the paths of these quirky characters clash.

The film was banned last year by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to provocative scenes. Though filmmakers have now managed to get it all cleared. Explaining the reason behind not certifying the movie, a member of the censor board, “It has an objectionable theme that goes against Indian culture and values, and therefore, cannot be certified.” They also had some objections with the depiction of children making lewd gestures, using profanities and committing acts of violence.
This is Anurag Kashyap’s second movie in a row, which has to enter into a legal battle against censor board. Earlier, this year Shahid Kapoor starrer Udta Punjab gone through the same because of the abusive language it had.
