Indore-Patna Express derailed in Kanpur: In an unfortunate incident that took place today, the Indore-Patna Express derailed in Kanpur and took over 100 lives and leaving more than 200 people injured. According to the railway sources, the reason of the accident is thought to be the rail fracture. But the real cause of the same will only be discovered after the inquiry report.
The sources added that due to the lack of modern Linke Holfmann Bush (LHB) coaches in the train, the number of casualties increased and if there had been stainless steel LHB coaches, the number of casualties would have been less.
