Between November 20 and November 28, 2022, the 53rd IFFI will be held over eight days. According to Goan Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, the event’s golden jubilee edition will be held in a newly constructed convention center with a seating capacity of 5000 to 6000 people. The Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) owns the property where it is currently held.

Non-competitive categories include the World Panorama, which features feature-length films by well-known filmmakers from all over the world.
The Sketch on Screen section gives a platform to four or five feature-length films of international animation with Indian collaborators.
