In September, the Cupertino giant unveiled its latest iPhones. They were an instant hit and Apple got busy in coping up with the huge demand. The new Jet Black variant got a lot of attention and saw the highest demand. Now, it seems like Apple wants the demand to shoot up by launching the iPhone 7 Jet White variant.
iPhone 7 Jet White is coming
According to a Japanese website, Mac Otakara, Apple will launch the iPhone 7 Jet White variant. They cited a source from the Apple supply chain. They had also mentioned that the source, however, is unreliable. We, therefore, advise the readers to take the above information with a grain of salt.
Some more information about Apple iPhone 7 Jet White variant
It will be available in both, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus variants. Also, it is possible that the Jet White variant will be offered only in the 128GB and 256GB variants, just like its Jet Black counterpart.
Apple has been adding new colours for quite a while now. The Gold colour was introduced with the iPhone 5S, Rose Gold was launched with iPhone 6S. However, all these colours were introduced at the launch, not after that. We ourselves find it hard to believe that Apple will launch iPhone 7 Jet White variant. But if they do so, it will be a good surprise.
What else?
Mac Otakara has made many accurate predictions earlier. Some of the recent ones relating to the iPhone 7 itself include Jet Black colour and omission of 3.5mm audio jack. Other honourable mentions include longer earpiece cutout, lack of Smart Connector and flush home button.
However, it also made some mistakes. At the time of iPhone SE’s launch, they predicted that it will be launched in a ‘brighter pink’ shade. As we all know, the iPhone SE was instead launched in Rose Gold colour which is totally different.
The Jet Black colour variant has its own flaws. It has been dubbed as a fingerprint magnet. In addition to that, it is very prone to scratches. But that seems to have no effect on the demand and the same can be expected from the iPhone 7 Jet White variant.
Keeping in mind that Mac Otakara said that the source is not a credible one, we would recommend not keeping very high expectations from the iPhone 7 Jet White variant because there is a high probability that it might never see daylight.
