Kiss and run case: Finally Delhi police have nabbed the 21 years old man ‘Crazy Sumit’ in kiss and run case. The man had become headlines for kissing young women on the streets and posting the so-called prank on social media.
He was caught by the police on late Thursday night, told he is a final year BCA student in WCTC College in Gurugram. The so-called prank was captured by his 23-year-old friend Satayjeet Kadyan who has been arrested also. He also told that the two of the girls were his friend. The two were arrested from Ashok Vihar Phase-3 area in Gurugram from Sumit’s house.

“We tracked Sumit and Kadyan after examining the CCTV footage of a restaurant where they were partying a couple of days ago in Gurugram. On the basis of their identities, we finally traced Sumit’s address,” a senior police officer told IANS.
“On questioning, Sumit told interrogators that he and Kadyan played the ‘prank’ for gaining publicity, and also claimed that the two girls who he kissed in the ‘prank’ videos uploaded in social media are known to him, and are his friends,” the police officer added.
Accused has denied molesting any women
“Sumit has denied molesting any women. He said he kissed the young women with their consent. We are investigating the case and are waiting for the victims to come forward to give a statement against him,” the officer said.
Sumit has uploaded the video on his YouTube Channel named “Crazy Sumit” in which he is kissing a girl on the street in different ways and then running away after kissing. He had apologised for the video saying that it was just a prank.
