LG had announced its latest device LG V20 Flagship Smartphone, that it would be the first smartphone to be launched with the new Android Nougat OS preloaded. Although the company launched the smartphone in the international market in September, LG has now sent out invites for an event on December 5, 6:30PM, where it will be launching the LG V20 in India.

One of the talking points of the V20 is of course that it is among the first smartphones to come preloaded with Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box. But in addition to that the V20 also packs audio and video features, which as per the company claims makes it ‘the’ smartphone for audiophiles.
LG V20 is the first smartphone to feature the 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC which is aimed at giving the best audio experience for its users. The digital-to-analog converter delivers a crisp and clear sound close to a live performance when used with a compatible wired headphone. It claims to reduce up to 50 percent of ambient noise levels.
Another highlight is the second display on the LG V20 Flagship Smartphone. Like the V10, there’s a second IPS display above the primary screen. Compared to the V10, the secondary display on the LG V20 boasts increased brightness and 50 percent larger font size. This secondary screen also features Expandable Notifications feature, which can be tapped on to enlarge and send quick replies or share information.

Display: The LG V20 smartphone features a 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS display.
Processor: At the heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz. It is paired with 4GB of RAM, with 64GB of onboard storage.
Camera: On the photography front, it sports dual rear cameras, featuring a 16-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel camera. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture.
Battery: The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,200mAh removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Additionally, the LG V20 has a replaceable battery like its predecessor, the V10. It comes with a customized button to easily remove the back cover. The button is placed on the right side of the smartphone.
Connectivity options in LG V20 Flagship Smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C support, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

- The V20 is also the first smartphone to showcase Google’s In Apps. It is a new search mode feature in the Google app.
- The new search mode allows you to search the content not just from the built-in apps but also from the apps that you have installed. It also helps in discovering recently accessed apps, messages to read or activity across apps.
- The LG V20 also comes with Qualcomm’s Steady Record 2.0 which features electronic image stabilization (EIS) 3.0 to record sharper videos and stabilize shaky images.
- Along with the dual-camera setup at the back, the V20 boasts Hybrid Auto-Focus which puts Laser Detection AF, Phase Detection AF and Contrast AF, for both photos and videos.
