M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Movie Biopic Being Dubbed in Marathi:– The M.S. Dhoni is an upcoming Bollywood biographical film based on the life of Indian cricketer, current ODI and T20I captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Fox Star Studios, Inspired Entertainment, Arun Pandey and in association with Friday Film Works.
The Sushant Singh Rajput will act as M.S. Dhoni in the film with Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. The movie will release on September 30, 2016. It also been announced that the film will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi.

The Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey says that he is very excited for the movie and it’s the first time that a Hindi biopic is arriving with a Marathi release. Although the filmmakers are very happy for the movie, the decision to release M.S. Dhoni in Marathi has come up with a political issue. According to Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (CKS), it would be unfair competition for regional films to dub a Hindi film into Marathi.
The Chief of CKS, Amey Khopkar said, “We have no objection to the film as such. The problem, lies with the dubbed version. If one producer releases his film in Marathi, it will pave the way for the others too. The regional filmmakers are already facing a lot of problems in getting screens at multiplexes.
If they too start screening dubbed films, where will our producers and directors go?” So, let’s see what will be the next step for the upcoming movie, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
